Stitch a Toadstool with ocre natural dye studio

Join textile artist Kayleigh Davis to create your own whimsical hand-stitched toadstool decoration, using beautiful naturally dyed silk fabrics. 

You will be given your own toadstool kit and Kayleigh will guide you step-by-step through each stage of creating your toadstool decoration to take home. 

This workshop is best suited to confident stitchers as there is some fine detail involved.

Kayleigh Davis is a textile artist, facilitator and the owner of ocre natural dye studio whose practice focuses on naturally dyed silks.

Immersed in nature from a young age, her work seeks to explore the impermanence and fragility of the natural world throughout the seasons by embedding foraged and grown pigments and prints into cloth. Her process is intrinsically meditative as she forages for seasonal botany around local woodlands and grows her own dye plants in a dedicated colour garden.
